Sightseeing
The Asian African Conference Museum, Jl Asia Africa no. 65
This museum is at the site of the 1955 (and subsequent 2005) Asia-African Conference. The entrance is actually located around the corner on…Bags must be left in a locker before going in. This costs nothing. Entry is also free of charge, which really is great as you will get a personal guided tour by one of the staff who will take you to have a look at the actual conference room, which is said to resemble a Dutch opera house. Afterwards you will be shown to another large room with various displays such as the original printer used to print the conference photos as well as a lot of information about the objectives and outcomes of the conference and much more. Well worth a visit.
