Richard Milnes
Richard was born in London, England, but has since spent much of his life travelling the world and has visited nearly 50 countries.
When travelling Richard tries to learn the local language, and learn about the culture and history of a country and live like the locals as much as possible.
Most of his career has been spent in the accountancy profession, where it was discovered that he was particularly good at proofreading financial reports.
Now Richard writes about travel, often with an emphasis on low cost, budget travel and warning others about scams.
He also writes in other areas of interest to him such as politics and current affairs.
